Job Description:
？ SOP standardization for advanced development.
？ Technical input in Fabric Strategy.
？ Facilitate coordination with division/finish goods PE team for the new material application. Ensure efficient and effective support to FG NPD in concept stage.
？ Identify and tackle potential fabric and materials technical issues before bulk production. Support in finish goods development with new material and involve in quality issue solution. Reengineer the fabric when needed.
？ Technical support to fabric suppliers. Utilize market information / new technology applying to textile industry to improve supplier performance.
？ Marketing research for new material, new technology and new trend. Share with fabric team and divisions.
？ Close connection with division for the sourcing and development direction alignment and re-source consolidation.
？ Assist in optimizing fabric globalization processes and procedures, proposal on quality requirement reassessment to widen fabric selection.
？ Manage advanced developments across all aspects of merchandising, certification/homologation, and quality expectations;
？ Set up the process to handover the advanced development to refresh development.
？ Take a coach role in fabric engineer loop. Responsible for the input in finish goods projects on behalf of fabric engineers.
？ Assist fabric buying manager in global projects and special projects.
Job requirement:
? Bachelor degree or above in Textile Engineering or related discipline;
? Minimum of 5-10 years relative working experience
? Strong technical understanding of fabric construction, weaving, knitting, dying & printing, finishing;
? Excellent color perception and good understanding of color theory related to fabric;
? Infant, juvenile, toy related fabric experience is an advantage;
? Understanding of US and European Testing Standards desirable;
? Team player with experience with working in a matrix organization, fast paced in a multicultural environment;
? Good communication & influencing skills;
? Analytical and detailed oriented;
? Self-starter and able to work independently;
? Team player with experience with working in a matrix organization, fast paced in a multicultural environment;
? Proficient in spoken and written in English & Mandarin
