Responsibilities
Responsible for accounting, group reporting, taxation, treasury, Canadian SOX compliance, FP&A, and other control activities.
Accounting – To ensure timely and proper closing. To supervise functions of receivable, payable, general ledger, cash management, inventory, collection, and fixed asset. To review and revise company policy and procedure as necessary. To assess operating risk with recommendation.
Group reporting – To ensure timely submission of group reporting deck and other corporate required documentation.
Taxation – To review and ensure timely submission of tax filing. Proactively manage relationship and communication with in-charge tax bureaus and other government agencies. To ensure all business certificates and permits are timely reviewed for renewed.
Treasury – To ensure proper cash management and cash requirement forecast.
Canadian SOX compliance – To ensure Canadian SOX compliance for our China sales operations.
FP&A – To support financial planning & analysis process including weekly sales update, monthly forecast and performance review, quarterly reporting and other required package, annual budgeting, 3-year planning, and costing analysis, and other ad-hoc project. To meet the divisional, segment, and group FP&A requirement.
Personnel management – To motivate, train, evaluate, and strengthen our finance team.
Requirement
8 or more years of accounting experience including at least 3 years on managerial role at reputable organization.
University degree or above with finance or accounting major.
Effective communicator in both written and spoken English.
CICPA or equivalent certification and/or audit experience is preferred.
Experience on SOX or equivalent compliance requirement is preferred.
ERP experience is preferred.
Hands-on and self-motivated.
Business-minded while also maintaining high integrity of controllership.
Being able to implement change and improvement in a fast-growing business environment.
