职位描述：
Job Summary
Responsible for the materials management of all manufacturing sites (global) to achieve organization and business objectives with optimum inventory and minimum materials E&O (Excess & Obsolescence). Leads the corporate materials team and works closely with the sites materials team in setting of policies, procedures and processes in managing, controlling and coordination of materials flow.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure optimization of all materials management activities including capacity planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, materials movement, warehousing, supplier performance measurement, and indirect materials management.
2. Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control.
3. Develops and implements long term materials transformation plans to achieve business objectives
4. Leads inventory optimization efforts including cycle count programs, excess and obsolete reduction, and inventory turns.
5. Ensure proper collaboration between customer service, planning, purchasing, project manager, business development and appropriate functions to minimize excess and obsolescence (E&O) materials.
6. Collaborates with the Finance organization on inventory financial matters including potential tax impacts to inventory, inventory valuation, and write-downs.
7. Works to establish and participates on the Material Review Board(s) to continually review and determine appropriate disposition of surplus and obsolete inventory .
8. Ensure compliance to company policies, procedures and standards.
9. Responsible for driving the development, implementation, and reporting of local organizational performance metrics.
10. Provide leadership in selecting, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of materials functions.
11. Develop and implement a professional development program for materials personnel.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistic/Supply Chain Management or any other discipline.
2. MBA or advanced degree including APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
3. 7 years of experience in a leadership role; developing, training and mentoring employees to obtain results through others. 举报 分享
