职位描述：
Summary:
The Packaging Engineer will be involved in the New Product Development (NPD) project, with focusing on packaging design for new product. This role will be responsible for packaging design, packaging material qualification, packaging cost control, packaging related test, packaging process development and packaging process validation.
Essential Functions:
? Manage packaging design and development to meet project and regulatory requirement.
? Create packaging design plan and organize resources to ensure project milestones are met within expectations of timeline, quality and budget.
? Manage and ensure the packaging material and packing process equipment cost.
? Develop and execute test method, protocol and report for packaging related validations.
? Trouble shooting and root cause analysis for packaging related issues.
? Other tasks assigned by manager.
Job Qualification:
Education:
Bachelor degree (Packaging design) or above.
Experience:
? Familiar with ISO 13485.
? Working knowledge of ISO 11607, ASTM D6198 and ASTM D4169
? More than 8 years’ working experience in packaging engineering, problem solving, medical devices and packaging of sterilized product.
? Experience in Design for Manufacturing, FMEA, DOE and validation.
? Training and experience in Lean and Six Sigma.
Skills/Competencies:
? Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
? Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with various business functions (R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Service, etc).
? Able to work in a cross functional team environment.
? Proficient with CAD, MiniTab.
? Good oral and written communication skills.
? Self-starter and capable of working with minimal supervision. Ability to multi-task across multiple projects.
? Fluency in English and Mandarin required.
? Project management skills.
