Description :
The role of a DSE engineer is to implement standard processes, tools and methodologies in collaboration with program team, specialist team and generics team, and seek for opportunities for development system improvement.

The objectives of the assignment are the following:
1. Standard / Generic implementation
- Management and Deployment of Components standardization in local programs.
- Coordinate to get validation for documents like design check sheet, generic drawing, specification, etc.
- Implement standard template to support Program teams in program management, in line with Program Mnagement System request and Program Audit.
- Coordinate regular communication between program team and experts for standard deployment.
- Collect feedback from program team for standard application. Ensure Lessons Learned are taken into account in standard revision.
- Monitor standard application status and make analysis to make improvement.
- Develop necessary processes and tools to support product development.

2. Component Acquisition and Tracking
? Identifying parts to purchase based on requests and information from Dealerships (maintain relationships with dealerships, etc.)
? Ordering of parts including fiscal record keeping
? Receiving and Identifying the parts
? Keeping Parts Inventory
? Obtaining vehicles (leasing or borrowing)
? Preparation of Benchmarking Studio displays

3. Part Teardown, Dimensional Analysis, and Display Preparation
? Creation of benchmark samples using saws, grinders, drills, and polishers as required.
? Dimensional Analysis of components using scales, calipers, micrometers, material analyzers, etc.
? Database entry of pertient information

4. Testing - setup and data collection
? Vehicle Testing – Set-up and teardown of vehicles, vehicle operation on track and chassis dynamometer for NVH and general data collection
? Dyno testing – Operation of chassis dynamometer as required
? Bench testing – Cold flow bench, Acoustic bench, Mechanical Impact Response
? Data Post-Processing of output files from the above tests

5. Data Processing and Reporting
? Prepare data in MS Office programs to clearly articulate test results
? Prepare and organize data into Benchmarking database and Power Point presentations
 
6. General
? Work cross functionally within a diverse group professionals in a courteous and respectful manner
? Work to and in conformance with all applicable standard methods and safety policies
? Communicate with customers (internal & external) as needed
? Complete work requests on-time
? Maintain orderly operation and calibration of complex equipment
? Maintain all work areas to 5S standards
? Work standing for extended periods of the day
? Ability to lift and handle exhaust assemblies


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have/be:
？ Bachelor Degree in Engineering
？ Team Player with excellent communication skills and international mindset.
？ Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
