My client is a Foreign group which operates over 1000 stores and growing Omni channel operations across 10 countries in Europe. It's a Europe's leading home improvement retailer with over 900 stores in 8 countries. It came to China for a significant long period and stable in development.


Description

This position will manage multiple projects required to support new and existing products including Engineering Changes Request and leading Reduction of Cost projects. It will need you make design recommendations for materials, manufacturing methods and component selections, provide input into the creation/modification of Product Specifications. You will need to set up challengeable, achievable project CPA and manage the projects proactively to ensure on time delivery with pre-set acceptance criteria. You also need to technical review at every milestone to ensure correct input for next step, arrange and monitor the testing to ensure reliable test results and create Product Acceptance Criteria and/or testing plan.




Profile

Degree in Engineering or related discipline, you should have minimum 4 years work experience in product development or design in international buying office or factory with knowledge on electrical/electronic/furniture/textile products. Good command of 2D and 3D design software; knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, ISO, etc. as well as Knowledge of various fabrication methods for the manufacturing. You are also supposed to have good products technical knowledge, ISO quality system knowledge, QA and QC systems knowledge, experience with European standards and directives an advantage. Strong communication and influencing skills, Mature, strong influencing and negotiation skills, result-driven are appreciated for the role. Good command of both written and spoken English and Putonghua is a must.
