<p>The Purchasing Manager will identify, negotiate, and manage vendors to support a hyper growth environment and continuously increasing forecasts for current/new product launches.</p><p><strong>Client Details</strong></p><p>Our client is a leading supplier specialised in retail and luxury packaging in Europe. Since its establishment, it has created a unique position in the retail packaging market with consumer engagement, speed to market and brands. They are seeking a high-performing purchasing manager in China to support their business.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Description</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain international supplier sourcing</li><li>Initialise purchasing orders to suppliers based on the buying plan from HQ</li><li>Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve supply bottleneck</li><li>Manage forwarding process and quality inspections and control with suppliers</li><li>Ensure the on time delivery of the purchase orders</li><li>Manage ad-hoc requests from Europe HQ on speedup</li><li>Supplier vendor management and improvement</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or Economics</li><li>Above 5 years of sourcing/purchasing in the retail packaging industry</li><li>Detailed knowledge of supply chain/logistics Key Performance Indicators</li><li>Solid problem solving, and decision making skills to deliver results</li><li>Self-driven, proactive and passion for work</li><li>Take the ownership for all tasks and make the quick response for ad-hoc requests</li><li>Excellent communication with fluent English and Chinese (Spanish is plus)</li><li>Accept frequent business travel for supplier visit in China</li><li>Be "can-do" attitude and work under stress</li></ul><p><strong>Job Offer</strong></p><p>Competitive Salary, Great Benefits, and Huge Growth Potential</p><p>To apply online please click the Apply button below.
