Responsibilities:
1. Work as a coordinator in the global supplier quality organization. Interface with Group Quality Manager, plant quality managers and SQEs in all Jaeger locations
2. Development and deployment of supplier management for compliance to IATF 16949 across the entire Jaeger group (globally) to provide a basis for realization of supplier selection/qualification/evaluation process and criteria in all Jaeger locations.
3. Assures communication of relevant information to all locations, complete monthly rollup of all supplier issues in supplier performance system, participate actively to supplier management projects, implement and roll out globally the responsibility for respective location.
4. Oversee the supplier certification/qualification program, administer supplier performance and monitor suppliers corrective actions plans.
Qualification:
1. Requires a B.S degree plus min. 7 years quality experience that includes managing supplier management system
2. Working knowledge of ISO9001 / ISO TS 16949 / IATF 16949
3. Technical knowledge of punching & turning parts, injection moulds and multicore cable
4. Highly motivated to drive continuous improvement and working with international teams
5. Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as molding, plating, die cast, machining and assembly
6. Certifications in ASQ/SQE/Black Belt/ Lean Manufacturing preferred
7. Team player to work with purchasing, design and engineering, product management, and manufacturing functions
8. Travel to suppliers and internal Jaeger plant locations
9. Possess negotiation skills and highly fluent in English.
