Objective:
Achieve China new business target for each financial year and build sufficient pipeline for next financial year.
Responsibilities:
Respond to formal RFI, RFP, RFQ, etc which entails data collection and writing responses.
Develop presentation slides and proposal write ups as typically act as center point of coordination.
Pricing – work with vendors to provide quotations, analyze vendor quotations and negotiate with vendors / pricing up of our team, technology costs, etc / financial modeling to work on the various pricing models (Principal vs Agent, Fixed, Guaranteed Maximum Price, Reimbursable, Cost Plus, etc.).
Work with Regional BD Team to build best practices collaterals (China key statistics, graphic development, proposal baseline and presentation baseline, case studies) – share these with teams to help in SD efforts.
Work with Procurement team and Operations team to develop Benchmarks for operating spend and update half yearly.
Participate in Due Diligence and actively take on specific roles (e.g. finance, administration, soft services, etc.).
Stay involved in Transition until all information from deal has been passed on to operation team.
Reporting – on new business financials, prospect activities, etc. for bi-weekly China SD meeting and monthly NB meeting with regional team.
Pipeline – actively participate in the Market Model exercise to source for Suspect and move from Suspect to Prospect.

Develop a strong understanding of the IFM business (concept, operating model, key competitors, strengths and weaknesses, key vendors, etc.).
Be able to lead the RFI, RFP, RFQ responses 12 months into the role.
Be able to present about IFM capabilities in front of client 9 months into the role.
Pricing – accurate, analytical, easy-to-understand and innovative.
Timely delivery of required reports.
Accuracy and quality of work product.
Ability to get those around you to ensure they provide the inputs to effectively delivery what is required to undertake your role.
Pro-actively coordinate and assist in leading projects independently and resourcefully.
Highly numerate with a strong aptitude for financial analysis.

Requirements:
Strong skills of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
Excellent command of English (writing and speaking) and Mandarin.
Highly numerate with a strong aptitude for financial analysis.
Meticulous and detailed orientated.
Independent worker but also works well in teams.
Sales experience will be a plus point.
FM operations experience will be a plus point.
Chinese national preferred.
Passionate about creativity and enjoys developing news ways to present ideas.
Desire to learn and enjoys taking on challenges.
Experience in bid management preferably working involving regional and local bids.
Able to multi- task
Demonstrated ability to manage the production of high quality proposal documents within managed timeframes
Commitment to quality and excellence in both presentation and content (Attention to details)
Ability to communicate clearly to clients at all levels (mid to senior management)
Awareness and flare for numbers, ability to break down business demand and present in a structure commercial model.
Some travel within China to be expected.
