Job description:
BD in this position will work to improve an HHC market position and achieve financial growth. This person defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
New Business Development
- Comprehensive understanding of respiratory or related area, to prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business (Resp & Diabetes or related area). To Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Participate in pricing the solution/service.
- Work with internal & external team to screens potential business deals and opportunities for business proposals.
Client Retention
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
Management and Research
- To support marketing & sales head for market research and analysis.
- Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
- Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
Requirement:
- > 4 years of experiences in medical device/pharmaceutical industry, not less than 3 years of sales & marketing experiences. Experience in respiratory area will be a plus.
- Strong business acumen with high awareness on external environment and organizational dynamics
- Self-motivated and possess excellent relationship building skills
- Bachelor degree or above
