职位描述
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Participate in the evaluation and selection of Suppliers with a focus on their capability to meet quality objectives. Monitor their performance; provide leadership and support to achieve continuous improvement in quality, technology, delivery and cost.
2. Cooperate with Company's Suppliers and Contract Manufacturing partners to implement processes for inspection, manufacturing process control, test, lot acceptance, and reliability confirmation.
3. Perform site audits at Suppliers and Contract Manufacturers. Conduct random inspections of processes and products to confirm conformance to standards and specifications.
4. Monitor and analyze quality and test data. Create performance measurement tools and reports to effectively identify Suppliers' performance issues and drive actions to correct problems and assure continuous improvement.
5. Lead required 8D corrective action activity within the Asia Supply Chain.
6. Cooperate with Company Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management teammates to establish performance goals and objectives for key Suppliers. Facilitate ongoing Supplier performance reviews.
7. Contribute to the development of new products. Review new design data and provide feedback on issues to improve manufacturing quality. Participate in Company Integrated Product Development Process to perform checklist actions required during each phase of the design process.
8. Guide Supply Chain Operations efforts to achieve strategic quality initiatives such as ISO compliance and Six Sigma Lean.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. BS Degree in Engineering or a technical discipline
2. Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing entity and experience working with quality management principles and processes.
3. Strong knowledge of quality engineering techniques (SPC, DOE, 6Sigma, CPk, etc.)
4. Sound understanding of quality standards (ISO9000, ISO14001, QC080000).
5. Experience leading quality system audits; certification as an auditor is preferred.
6. Effective communications skills (written and verbal) in both Mandarin Chinese and English
7. Must have strong background and experience in precision plastic injection molding, assembly of plastic components, and ultrasonic welding processes in high volumes.
8. Good understanding of tooling, manufacturing, and painting and finishing processes for machining, stamping, extruding and die casting of metal components and assemblies.
9. Experience and knowledge in manufacturing, quality systems, and testing of printed circuit board assemblies.
10. Ability to direct and manage Suppliers and maintain effective working relationships
11. Work from remote office in Suzhou, with up to 50% travel throughout China
12. Willing and able to travel internationally, including the USA
