REPORTS: Solid: Product Marketing Manager, C&B
Dotted: CPM in key account team
SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION:
? China OE
? Support Asia BU for
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
? To identify and analysis the business opportunities for all BU products in China
? Continually analyze market needs and competitive pressures to identify opportunities for development and growth.
? To be responsible for project pipeline, new product launches and key project pursuit
? To employ business modeling tools to identify recommended new products and services, key relationships that focused on customer value, strategic pricing evaluations and recommendations.
? To assist, develop and implement BE strategy and marketing activities based on facts, well-informed marketing intelligence with an objective to realize continuous business growth and achieve WABCO’s industry leadership vision.
? To identify and analyze customer and product strategies, STRAP as well as AOP management review
? To joined defining business requirements and objectives and in turn translate those business requirements into requirements of the respective Product BUs
? To work with the country sales, application engineering team as well as the global product business units, product development teams and the functional teams to implement product strategies and marketing programs with proper control and improving being in place.
EXPERIENCE:
? 7 years or above work experience in multinational companies
? 3-4 years of experience and knowledge of Commercial Vehicle Industry an advantage
? Proven experience making business decisions based on understanding the competitive market place, customers and business trends
PROFILE:
? Degree in Marketing, Communications or a business related field, MBA preferred
? Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient command of English
? Ability to communicate with technical experts and engineering teams;
? Background in Product Marketing as well as project and process management experience;
? Able to use analytical tools to assess markets, opportunities, costs and ROI
? Able to persuade and influence people to take desired action;
? Exceptional communication skills, including the abilities to elicit information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, negotiate tense situations successfully, and manage and resolve conflict;
? Willing to travel
METRICS:
? The overall sales, market share and profit achievement
? The proportion of revenue development coming from new product / market
? The control of budget and spending
? Progress on implementing AOP and related studies in terms of time and resources allocation
? Quality of related documents i.e. content of insights
? Understanding of market and customers dynamics
