Position overview
Name of the position:Compliance Officer
Department/Section:Legal and Compliance
Report to:Head of Legal and Compliance
Location:Shenzhen


Key objectives
Ensure all company activities are compliant with external and internal rules and regulatory requirements


Duties and responsibilities
1.Monitor external regulatory requirements and implement them in cooperation with responsible departments into company
2.Create internal rules system
3.Monitor adhering to internal and external rules
4.Supervise compliance in company's subsidiaries in China
5.Cooperate with Home Credit Group Headquarter in Europe


Requirements
Education/Experience
1.Bachelor or Master Degree from Law School, Chinese lawyer qualification certificate, or Certified Public Accountant.
2.3 years' working experience in guarantee or financial sector or 5 years' related working experience (related experience is not expressly defined in law but per communication with regulator shall be in legal/compliance filed)
3.Knowledge and experience in commercial, banking, consumer and administrative law and corporate law of China
4.Advanced English, can report to foreign superior directly - speaking, writing
5.Preferably experience with work in multinational teams.
Required skills
1.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
2.Ability to actively participate in and lead legal and compliance discussions in Chinese and English, draft bilingual compliance documents and memoranda.
3.Proactive, solution bringer
4.Work independently, able to supervise and guide junior compliance officers.
5.Native Chinese, excellent and confident English speaker and writer, excellent grammar and vocabulary needed, capable of reviewing bilingual documents and check for discrepancies(English and Chinese)
6.Capable of understanding and dealing with structured and complicated tasks, pays great attention to detail in documentation, good user of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
7.Willing to travel around China
