? Primary product developer in the sporting goods industry
? Liaison between corporate office and factories
? Assist in maintaining department reports:
o Product specifications
o BOM
o Project Tracker
o Capture and report sample process comments
o SMS Fabric Projections
o Margin product trackers
? Day to Day Development Process for In-Line and SMU Products.
o Secondary lead to senior developer on Technically Difficult Product Categories.
o Primary Lead Developer on Easier Product Categories.
？ Communication Management between USA and China
？ Raw Material Expertise
？ Sample Evaluations & Comments. Also, Sample management
？ Product specification review and communication
？ Sourcing materials, components and manufacturing processes
？ Packaging Follow -up & Development
？ Manufacturing knowledge expertise
？ Cost management and Negotiations
？ Project Placement
? Extensive Internal & External Email Communication and Follow-Up
? Manage Brand Rule Compliance
? Weekly Meetings with Departments and Cross Functional Partners
? Travel to factories across Asia required
? Exercise independent judgment and take initiative to drive business results.
? Assist in managing obsolete and excess inventory.
? Effectively follow up on assignment.
? Consistently meet the normal expectation/standard.
? Performance is solid and tasks are completed timely.
? Good attitude and team work.
? Fully understand and follow company/department policies & procedures.
? Fully align with company goals.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

? College degree in Engineering or business management required
? 7+ years recent experience in a large-scale hard/soft goods manufacturing environment in the sporting goods industry
? Computer Proficiency, email, spread sheets, word
? Know Adobe Illustrator Software program.
? Must be decisive - confident
? Excellent written and verbal communication ability with superior people skills
? Must be able to work in a team environment and lead a team to maximize their potential
. Strong tooling and plastic manufactory process experience;

Interpersonal skills a must
? Knowledge of costing, fitting, grading, construction and technologies relevant to performance Apparel/Accessories/Footwear is necessary.
? Strong understanding of design, development and product management process from inception through production.
? Ability to interpret design intent and offer alternative solutions; high aesthetic taste level.
? Ability to work well under pressure, to anticipate and troubleshoot issues of consequence to quality and delivery with ease.
? Proactive, and result driven.
? Strong communication, organization, problem solving skills and detail oriented.
? Self-starter, team player, strong follow up skills, and sense of urgency. Must be deadline oriented.
? Must be willing to learn or grow within an intense, fast paced environment. Able to take on projects without assistance or supervision.
? Domestic and overseas travel is required and is scheduled/planned as per project status or seasonal requirements.
PLUS FACTORS:
? Knowledge of patterns, markers and fabric yield’s/consumption.
? Experience working with overseas mills, agents and manufacturers.
? Previous International travel to factories and offices
