GENERAL SUMMARY:

Develop, execute and communicate strategic merchandise financial plans and strategies that support the merchandising, marketing and financial objectives of one Division or several Departments. Drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory and bottom line profitability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. PERATIONS/FINANCIAL:
? Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department and class.
? Create pre-season sales, gm, and inventory plans by department and class that support product strategies.
? Reconcile top-down to bottom-up class plans.
? recap and analyze actual sales results to plan, and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis.
? Own open to buy forecasts. Present financial forecast and supporting action plans in open to buy/monthly forecast meeting
? Re-forecast sales and manage inventory for all basic styles to meet financial goals.
? Participate in company and brand initiatives as appropriate.

2. PEOPLE LEADERSHIP/RELATIONSHIPS:
? Support a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment with peers and cross-functional team.
? May provide timely feedback and direction to direct reports to foster rapid skill development and performance improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
?- Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
?- Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
?- Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills
?- Facility with personal computers, including the ability or aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
?- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
?- Language: Fluency in English is a must

2. Minimum educational level:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required

3. Previous experience desired:
1-2 years experience as a Planning Analyst or equivalent

4. Physical Requirements:
Must be able to operate a computer
