Position Description:
The client is a world leader in oil and gas trading. Our technology team is responsible for the design and implementation of complex trading systems to support the commodities business from front to back office. Its Commodities Shanghai Technology group have built expertise on providing comprehensive solutions on physicals scheduling systems and position, risk and P&L systems.

The candidate will be focused on the development, enhancement and support of the Commodities trading applications, and will work closely with its global team on the design, implementation, testing and deployment of enhancements and new applications. The position requires excellent theoretical and practical C#/Java knowledge and a strong OO understanding. The candidate must be a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player with passion for building rich user interface applications and an extensive use of tiered technology. The candidate must be able to function with light supervision and be able to carry out the tasks necessary to deliver quality solutions to the business.

Skills Required:
* Superior technical skills. Our software are developed on Windows, UNIX and Linux, using Java, C#, C++ and Perl. Our developers build applications by leveraging a combination of in-house and third-party frameworks and infrastructures - such as relational databases, global XML/SOAP messaging infrastructure, high-availability clusters, and highly scalable distributed systems.
* Expertise in WPF / Winform
* Experienced in working in a multi-tier environment
* Good understanding of OO A&D
* Knowledge of XML and related technologies
* RDBMS and SQL knowledge
* Candidate must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Effecting reading/writting communication skills in English

Skills Desired:
* Commodities trading or other finance business knowledge
* Effective verbal communications skills in English
