Job Description
30% Channel business tracking (especially on booking & inventory), report & data consolidation
30% Assist Sales Director on quarterly billing push
20% Distributor training/qualification, channel events setting
20% Support regional sales team on channel alignment
Duties & Responsibilities:
This position will report to Distribution Sales Director, and will act as the commercial focal point for assigned distributor for both internal & external interface to co-ordinate all necessary resources to enable sustainable business growth attached to pre-defined revenue & profit goal.
The primary objective of this role is to formulate, plan and execute all distributor sales activities, including sampling, forecasting, booking and billing, drive and supervise demand creation & fulfillment work in China, to implement the sales strategies in channel customers.
1. To jointly develop a channel and customer based plan to achieve the company's objectives of profitability, selling the right product & service offer to the right end customer
2. Manage the annual channel business planning process including committing resources, review, action and interventions
3. Build capability & transfer knowledge to the distributor sales, facilitate the training/qualification, coaching & motivation of the distributors
4. Business tactics including Sampling, Quotation, Booking, Forecast, Payment, Inventory Management etc
5. Identify opportunities, and pipelines building up, and tracking
6. Regular business review, demand plan with S&OP team
7. Distribution sales program execution, including Rebate & Sales Promotion program
8. Joint marketing activities management, channel event arrangement
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree, and at least 8 years’ experience in sales and marketing
2. Proactive, dynamic, responsible, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, result-oriented
3. Strong Commercial & Financial Acumen.
4. Open & willing/able to build up the relationship cross culture/background in short time.
5. Strong ownership & execution.
6. Computer skills - advanced Excel, PPT, MS Office user
7. Willing to travel 30%+
Competence:
1. Good Sales skill, including but not limited to Communication Skill, Negotiation Skill, Presentation Skill and Marketing Intelligence
2. Strong analytical skills, project management skills
3. Market Knowledge: Traditional & Modern Trade; Channel & Customer Plan; Sales, Field & Merchandising Processes
4. Able to leverage internal & external resources to achieve sales goal
