职位描述

Position:Testing and Equipment Engineer

Section 1: Position Summary

The job holder will be responsible for managing **** testers, fixtures, and equipment to ensure **** products meet with strict specification.
1. China supplier's equipment functional maintenance. (Currently we have Hi-P, Vtech, SMTC, Mreit, HuaFeng, Lorom, Meri Etc...). This position responsible for Hi-P major equipment maintenance.
2. Testing documentations maintenances: **** equipment Assets list, Tester performance record, Tester log files management and spare parts list.
3. Production line technical support in ***.
4. Equipment improvement and help to make smaller-scale testers for Suppliers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
80% Responsible for all the test equipment in SHG. (Merlin, Acoustic Module tester, BNR production line 6 major tester and CTO (In the future).
New Test equipment installation, backup, verification and modification.
Perform test equipment repair and diagnostic on hardware and software problems. Debug (SHG) test equipment to make it fit in the working environment.
Provide periodically inspection and maintenance to test equipment at supplier site (SHG). Record all changes made on equipments. Training supplier related people regarding testing and maintenance.
Testing documentations maintenances: **** equipment Assets list, Tester performance record, Tester log files management and spare parts list.
Build the small scale testers and equipment for the manufacturing process.
Test equipment improvement initiative and implementation.
Maintain **** spare parts and send to other suppliers.
15% Provide technical support to **** production line in supplier site.
Support process engineer on product diagnostics and root cause analysis and solutions for both production failures and customer failures using scientific tools and data analysis. Improve equipment coverage.
Provide support on PCN/TCN implementation if tester is involved.
Support production pilot.
5% Perform other duties/projects as assigned

Section 4: Specific Job Knowledge
Indicate the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to competently perform the job and the level needed (i.e., good communication skills, excellent working knowledge of automated system, etc.)
Strong hardware and software engineering background is essential. Has working experience on electronics, mechanical and software knowledge. Able to diagnostic electronics circuit and review mechanical drawings.
Good computer skill, can setup tester software, and able to use software for PCBA design and simulating.
Excellent working knowledge of electronics and operate electronic test tool and equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, data gather tool, soldering and unsoldering equipment & tools, etc
Excellent oral and telephonic communication skills

Excellent writing abilities

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work with suppliers people from different department and background.
Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Ability to access information using automated systems (e.g., windows based computer); experience with spreadsheets (Excel preferred) and word processing (Word preferred);
Excellent working knowledge of **** product and test equipment preferred.
Excellent data analysis, problem solving skill. Able to analyze production and field failures and communicate to the team.
Ability to coordinate of Pilot Runs, Process Deviations, Re-Works, PCN Implementations

Bachelor's/Associate's degree in Electronics or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
