Responsibilities:
- Lead a group of PMs managing program development from product concept to production release
- Coordinate internal design teams, manufacturing, and customers by performing the following duties
- Apply world class program management to meet customer expectations and requirements
- Demonstrate leadership & cultivate motivation to the team
- Lead program managers to achieve the business model
- Establish key performance indicators (KPI)
- Manage continuous process / tool improvement
- Lead program managers to achieve the business model
- Interactive team building (external & internal) advise to elaborate how many parties/teams to interact
- Support sales at customer relationship management
- Overall accountability to deliver on time, on cost and on quality and reporting to senior management
- Provide strategic directions and objectives to the program managers - aligned with Telecom BU strategies
- Provide and oversee the yearly established budgets
- Manage continues improvements in tools and procedures / insure appropriate cross functional participation in projects
- Review of SOW (statement of work) and development contracts
- Report on KPI's (cycle time, cost, quality)
- Business risk management: escalation of risks to senior management
- Change management
Requirements:
- BS, MS or PhD is preferred
- 10 years electronics products R&D experience
- Experienced in project/program management; member of PMI certified PMP is preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational awareness
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese
