JOB PURPOSE
To assist senior merchandisers in managing through the Pre & Post-order development process, organizing all correspondences with the factories and business unit and ensure information are given to all relevant parties for shipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. MANAGE AND COMPLETE PRE-ORDER ACTIVITY
·Costings: conduct R&D costing with supplier, create RFQ in PLM for concept cost, Dev cost and ensure quotations reflect the highest quality for the lowest cost.
· Salesman Samples and swatch book: Ensure that new range products are developed within lead times and that salesman samples & swatch book are delivered on time each season
. Quality & Pre-Production Samples: Work with Quality and technician to ensure that production samples are processed and approved within the agreed timeframe.
.Complete spin to sell on time as per calendar
.Run production pack and release to supplier before OE placement to make sure supplier have proper information to proceed with bulk production.

2. MANAGE AND COMPLETE POST-ORDER ACTIVITY
. Place order through Apex pro to Supplier.
???????? . Coordinating and follow up of bulk production to ensure on-time delivery
·Problem Solving during the order follow-up process
· Check the OE & POA on Apex Pro.
· Ensure data are update on Apex Pro
. Follow up bulk material testing and make sure it was testing and approved before bulk production.
. Stock management & mismatch problem solving.
. PP and Production sample management .
. Seasonal sku re-activation management.
. Sku flag
. Coordination with Quality Assurance Team for inline & final inspection.

4. REPORTS & PERFORMANCE PLAN
JOB REQUIREMENT
Skills:
??University graduate or equivalent
??Minimum 4 years experience in similar role in garment industry
??Experience in Garment & Textile Merchandising /Production
??Fair understanding of garment construction
??Fair Understanding of garment manufacturing procedures
??Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English.
??Proficient IT skills, including: Use of Merchandising Systems, Word, Powerpoint MS Excel
??Knowledge of Quality Control systems.
