Purpose:
? Support A&G Sourcing in implementing sustainability initiatives and projects to ensure the adidas Group’s sustainability targets are achieved. Act as interface to the A&G T1 and T2 supply base to ensure compliance / adherence to defined Sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
? Implement the adidas Group’s Sustainability targets across the A&G supply base
– Define supplier scope for Sustainability initiative
– Communicate sustainability targets & timelines to internal and external stakeholders
– Establish reporting and monitoring structure (format, frequency, data content) to measure target achievement
? Ensure compliance with Sustainability targets across all product types
– Review seasonal range to identify products relevant to sustainability targets (e.g. waste water disclosure, PFC free materials)
– Collect, consolidate and verify data from T1 / T2 suppliers
– Monitor waste water disclosure across A&G source base on a regular basis (timely, complete, accurate disclosure)
– Communicate support need to A&G Innovation Manager / Environmental Engineer
? Support sustainability related analyses
– Perform / support cost impact analysis from out-phasing PFC chemicals
– Develop cost mitigation strategies jointly with Apparel and Footwear division
– Support efforts of A&G Innovation Manager / Environmental Engineer to develop sustainable material solutions
? Be the contact point within A&G Sourcing for Sustainability topics
– Facilitate the conversation within A&G Sourcing to achieve Sustainability targets
– Collaborate with internal (SEA, Development, Innovation, Strategy office) and external (T1/T2 suppliers) stakeholders for ongoing initiatives, e.g.
? Product Impact Tracking (establish SMTT for A&G)
? Sustainable Cotton (drive better cotton initiative for sock suppliers)
? Recycled Polyester opportunities
? Networking and self-development
– Relationship mgmt. / networking within A&G Sourcing and across divisions / functions
– Ensure continuous learning with respect to A&G Sourcing processes & products
– Ensure continuous learning with respect to Sustainability trends / developments and share knowledge within A&G Sourcing organization

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
? Able to work independently as well as part of a team

? Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
? Process thinking / end-to-end mindset
? High motivation and eagerness to learn
? Good understanding of supply chain mechanics from sourcing to customer
? Competent user of Microsoft Office suite
? Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
? Knowledge in Sustainability / SEA area is a plus
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
? Degree in business administration, supply chain management or similar
? Minimum 2 years working experience, ideally in sourcing / SEA related function
