职位描述：
The mission mainly consists in:
- Produce the prototype / BAT
- Do the quality test on prototype / BAT
- Manage the prototype team (5 staff)

He/she reports directly to the Design Department Manager.

Location: Dongguan, China

Mission 1: Produce the prototype / BAT

From drawings / sketch form either Technical Designer or Project Manager, the Model Maker will have to produce according to this specification.
He/she have to handle all the step of the process:
- Insure that the raw material is available
- Arrange the operation from cutting to finishing
- Collect information and arrange the shipment of this part

He/she is warrant of the quality of the prototype / BAT.

He/she need to report to the enquirer of the prototype / BAT the difficulty for assembly or dimensional mistake.

Mission 2: Do the quality test on prototype / BAT

During the production phase of the prototype / BAT, he/she have to realize all the test relative to the product (oven, 3M, transportation …), previously defined by QC dpt or Project Manager.

He/she need to report to the enquirer of the prototype / BAT if some weakness or non conformity are detected during the test.

Mission 3: Management of the team

He/she will manage the sample team to organize and coordinate them. From the master schedule defined by the Design manager he will have to create detailed schedule for each area of the sample workshop.


Tacit Mission:

Follow the rule of tidying up of the sample room.
Insure that the common stock of tooling or common product is in stock (glue, tape, carton …)

Profile required for the position:

- Knowledge of techniques assemblies and machining materials plastic type. Metal, wood,
- Dynamic, enthusiastic and curious,
- Open-minded and used to evolve in a multicultural and international environment
