The Company is one of the most reputable domestic baby product brands in China, engaging in the design, development, production, marketing and sales of high-quality, mid- to high-end baby products targeted at 0-4 year-olds. The Company is headquartered in Guangzhou, and has over 800 retail outlets covering all Tier 1 and most Tier 2 cities. Position:
The Financial Controller will report to the CEO and to the Board of Directors. The Financial Controller will be based in Guangzhou, and will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, and managing all financial-related activities of the Company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, investor road shows, M&A transaction analysis, and maintaining shareholder reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:
1.Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization;
2.Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting, in particular shareholder reporting;
3.Implement effective internal controls and ensure compliance with relevant laws for financial and tax reporting;
4.Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts;
5.Maintain strong relationships with shareholders and directors;
6.Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.

Qualifications and Attributes:
1.Graduate caliber, qualified accountant with 7+ years’ experience in finance/accounting, or Big 4 experience, preferably in apparel or retailing related industries;
2.Experience of leading the finance department in a rapidly growing business in China;
3.Experience acting as a strategic business partner to management, keeping abreast of the latest economic and trading environment and the latest accounting standards and disclosure requirement;
4.Good prioritization in delivering team and business objectives;
5.Ability to take/mitigate risk with full awareness of the impact;
6.Excellent finance and controls experience – able to ensure financial integrity and compliance with current and future corporate governance requirements;
7.Strong commercial acumen and a personality that drives this across the finance function;
8.A professional accountancy qualification of equivalent standard to CPA is desirable;
9.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential;
10.Maturity, self-confidence, positive approach to problem solving, seasoned judgment, good business instincts, well-developed sense of personal accountability.
