职位要求：A great opportunity for an experienced Finance Controller to join a market leading freight forwarding company in Asia. My client, an Icelandic shipping giant has aggressive expansion plans in China and as such, is looking for a talented and ambitious Controller for their HQ operations in Qingdao.


Client Details

Eimskip is an Icelandic transportation company operating 20 vessels on various routes in the North Atlantic and offering worldwide reefer forwarding services. The annual turnover of the company is EUR 500 mln, operating in 19 countries with 1.600 employees, of which 750 employees outside Iceland.



The company is listed at NASDAQ in Reykjavik, Iceland

Outside Iceland, Eimskip operates 40 offices in 18 countries, with the international HQ in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.



Eimskip started its operations in China in 2004 with a small freight forwarding office in Qingdao. Today we have offices in Qingdao, Dalian, Shenzhen and Xiamen. Annual turnover is EUR 50 mln, employing 115 staff.



Eimskip Logistics in China is a freight forwarding company, specialized in transport of reefer containers.

I

n addition to the forwarding activities, we operating a 50.000 tons coldstore in Qingdao in a joint venture with the Port of Qingdao whereby Eimskip owns 30% of the shares.


Description

As the Finance Controller, you will oversee all of the financial operations for EIMSKIP's for their China operations. The current policies and procedures in place will need to be reviewed and improved. You will introduce a whole new set of accounting, internal controls and compliance policies.


As the FC, you will also manage the recent implementation of SAP to ensure accurate reporting.


You will ensure all legal entities are tax complaint as well as reconcile all statutory reporting.


Report directly to the CEO of Eimskip Logsitics Qingdao Co Ltd and work closely with the financial management of Eimskip Group


Provide leadership and coaching to a team of 15 people.


Profile

In order to be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate excellent technical skills as a Finance Controller. It is essential that you have a solid background in Auditing, ideally having worked in one of the Big 4 in your early career.


It is also imperative that you are well versed in Accounting principles, PRC GAAP and IFRS.


You will be able to demonstrate where you have previously delivered results through designing and implementing internal accounting controls to ensure proper segregation of duties, adequate approval of transactions and accuracy of reporting.


Other Requirements include:


-Experience in communicating with external audit firms and tax lawyers

-Ability to speak and write English

-Experience with working in an international environment

-Good knowledge of Chinese culture and able to communicate in Chinese language

-Good knowledge of SAP
