1) Obtain key seasonal and
brand driver information from the brand/regional/country initiatives

2) Drive and execute the
strategic, long-term accessories agenda

3) Manage the input of
product information/direction from the region to the product group to product
ensure that the operations calendar is being adhered to.

4) Apply advanced
understanding of the product, delivery and pricing needs of

consumers, key markets, and channels

5) Conduct consumer/athlete
research for unique insights and provide feedback

6) Continued understanding
of retail (all channels of distribution)

7) Analysis of the current
business (including bookings and sell-through by channel, age/gender/ sport
segments, size, color, etc.)

8) Provide input for line
planning, pricing for a complete product line; including silhouette/style/color
plan, sizing strategy, flow plan, wholesale and suggested retail pricing
strategies and pricing margin targets

9) Utilize market knowledge
to provide clear product direction to the product team to define product
positioning; creating category construct, line plan, and market briefs

10) Provide key information
to the Product Team within the product creation process, including the gathering
of input from key accounts, incorporating them into the line plan/designs and
resolving merchandising issues that arises through the season

11) Assist in the
development of Special Make-Up styles which may created in-country
(local-for-local); sampling, communication with specific factories

12) Act as the proprietor
of category analysis and historical information

13) Assist with Client and
Account Presentations-internal/external

14) Manage the
preparation, coordination and execution of all merchandising and sales meeting
presentations (e.g., catalogs, sales samples, sales meeting presentation
slides, prelines, etc.).

15) Assist in creation of Retail Fixturing programs with Global
Merchandising Team; manage regional fixturing needs.

QUALIFICATION
EXPERIENCE:

3-5
years
related merchandising and/or product line management.

Experience in working with cross-functional marketing teams in the
development and implementation of products, brand positioning, marketing
strategies, integrated marketing plans and retail presentation

Experience in working in a licensed business model, preferred.

Experience in working with regional/country offices of a company.

EDUCATION:

Degree
(BA/BS) in either Marketing, Business or a related
field, preferred.

SKILLS:

·Strong business orientation, analytical aptitude, retail math and
computer skills preferred

·Developed merchandising skills and thorough understanding of the
product process

·Ability to create consensus and work cooperatively

·Strong communication and influencing skills

·Strong relationship building skills

·Developed effectively dissecting and utilizing market research

·Ability to manage line planning, line lists, and preparation of
global price lists of up to 4 seasons at any given time

·Fluent in Japanese, Mandarin, English (written and verbal)
