ARIAT International, Inc. (China) Office's located in Guangdong, *Dong-guan & **Zhong-shan, come join the team!! ARIAT, is a fast paced growing manufacturer/wholesale distributor of equestrian footwear, apparel, belts and small leather accessories. As our domestic and international markets continue to grow were expanding and are currently seeking a Leather product person(s) to fill the role as Leather Quality Controller to work with our Leather Team in Asia.

The successful candidate will be both brand focused, and have an understanding of leather products, tannery processing and quality control systems. The position will report to the Leather Manager and will work closely with the Leather team QA & QC functions. This person will act as the link between suppliers Inspections and quality controls for on sight inspection audits to set necessary quality control parameters and program measurements that drives ARIAT brand quality control assurance and liability.

Responsibilities include:

· Identify best QC practices and techniques to assess suppliers articles consistent with ARIAT products

· Develop a strong relationship with our core suppliers to leverage manufacturing quality capabilities.

· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task

· Work successfully with a cross-functional operational team to deliver exceptional in a targeted geographic area

· Develop strong Reliability and Quality Engineering capabilities to ensure the development and manufacture of products for ARIAT production requirements

· Inspire, motivate and communicate vision with Contract Manufacturers and begin to build consensus toward the adoption of and commitment to new standards while continually growing the skill sets to our Quality driven organization.

· QA/QC Getting a consensus and gain support in multiple business and geographical cultures with region

· Builds strategic partnerships to further both business and QA organizational objectives and collaborates with all levels in developing strategic direction for short and long term business planning.

· Effectively controls the deployment of business strategies, the utilization of our leather products and scope and timeliness and deliveries.

· Ensures that Quality Systems and Product Transfers to Contract Manufacturers are efficient and effective and are utilized in a proactive manner to deliver competitive advantage

Skills and Experience required:

· Minimum 3 year experience leather program development with shoe factories or brand

· Previous experience in SatraSumm or related leather cutting materials programs

· Product ability to benchmark performance, testing and analysis to quantify the impact of each project/program

· Familiar with TQA/TQS/Lean flow manufacturing systems

· Must have a first-hand knowledge and experience of all aspects of leather manufacturing, and related TQM
