Key responsibility/task:
Mastering –Regional programs
? Develop/ Coordinate/ Support Interior color masters for all materials
? Develop/Coordinate /Support Interior finish masters
? Follow up/ Support SASF for construction testing
? Follow up/ Support SASF for color durability testing
? Participate in Material selection meetings with engineering & CTC
? Support material tech clubs (ie, decorative finishes).
? Participate in identification of Approved Suppliers for technologies (ie, PVD, chrome, leather, wood, etc)
Craftsmanship–Regional & BCC programs
? Reviewing Production Parts against the established master for texture, color & gloss as part of the PPAP process.
? Participate in Tool Kick Off Reviews with engineering
? Review & Approve Production Tools / Parts:
? Lead Pre and Post Texture, Color, & Gloss Approval
? AAR documentation and retention.
? Updating AAR status into craftsmanship database of part submissions.
? Conducting Vehicle Harmony reviews with AAR approved parts.
? Lead Vehicle Harmony review
? Maintain & update color lab with latest Technology , masters and accessories
Appearance Program Management –Regional programs
? Conduct Weekly / Monthly meetings with CTC & Turin to download all program information
? Order and stock relevant masters from Thierry
? Conduct Supplier Kick Off meeting
? Conduct Appearance meetings with suppliers, SQ, APM, P&S to track target submission dates.
? Responsible for the Super Database Containing:
? Component level Colors / Finishes / materials / Price Classes (sim to FGA Aesthetical Table)
? Mastering of new colors / finishes / textures (target v actual)
? AAR activities including planned to actual for pre-texture, post-texture, color & gloss
? Construction & manufacturability testing w/ Materials Engineering
? Sourcing
? Timing
? Capability
