Job Brief:
We are looking for a Costing Engineer to design and manage the process for getting best possible quotes from our supply base to our customers. Your job will help us to stay competitive and win new business.
In this role, you should have an analytical mind and a good understanding of how factories cost. Negotiating skills and attention to detail are essential. If you also have experience in transacting with VAT and Customs Handbooks, we’d like to meet you.
Your goal will be to us get consistent and best possible quotes in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
? Work with colleagues in engineering, supply chain and program management to create Should Cost analyses to give target costs on any given project.
? Assess supplier costs: visit supplier sites to verify assumptions, assess actual process costs and adapt the product cost model.
? Develop formats for supplier costing and customer quotations.
? Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking.
? Build cost tools and online knowledge base for quick cost estimations.
? Create fact pack documents that support cost negotiations and be prepared to assist in negotiations.
Requirements:
? 5+ years in a costing role such as Costing Engineer or Should Cost Engineer or Quotation Engineer.
? Excellent abilities in Excel.
? Excellent knowledge of Dongguan labor indirect & direct costs.
? Good team working abilities and a great customer service ethos.
? Fluent in Mandarin and excellent working knowledge of written and spoken English
Commodity and sourcing knowledge in any one of PUs, microfibers, injection molding, phone cases, baby products and IOT is an added benefit but not a requirement. 举报 分享
