1. Implementation Manager - ICM APAC (Data Quality)
Corporate Unit : Ocean Customer Solutions, APAC
Location : Shanghai, China
Reporting to : Head of Integrated Cargo Management (ICM) APAC
Staff Responsibility : Individual Contributor
2. General Description
Responsible for the coordination, business implementation, and monitoring of all regional Ocean Customer Solutions accounts. The candidate will work closely with different business units to assist with the launch and continued development of our Ocean Customer Solutions services.
Ongoing customer service post-implementation in the form of developing and evaluating origin and destination metrics will be required in an effort to maintain and improve DB Schenker’s Supply Chain Services. The individual will be the go-to party on all questions or inquiries from both the origin and destination branches and assist the Sales teams in the region in all areas related to the Supply Chain Service products offered/implemented.
3.Specific Accountabilities
?Role with dual responsibility: 50%: Ensuring Data quality (DQ) and 50%: Implementations.
?To monitor DQ performance of all ICM services offered, to follow SOP’s against KPI’s set by the Client requirements.
?Review DQ reports proactively to ensure DQ and timeliness is adhered to Customer and internal requirements.
?Follow up and escalate where required to necessary branch/country management. Document root cause of DQ issue and implement preventive/corrective measures.
?To create, maintain and implement “Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)” covering Operations, Documentations and EDI/IT functions
?To liaise with- and to assist APAC country PM Ocean/Air in the implementation of APAC-wide SOP’s in the APAC Region
?Conduct training sessions for ICM origin operations on the SCOUT application to ensure a high data quality in line with the ICM service portfolio
?Coordinate the training and on-boarding of customers located in APAC and their Asian vendors onto the ICM program
4Skills Required
?Excellent command of English, spoken and written.
?Excellent skills on advance MS Excel functions (formulae, pivot table, macro) will be a big plus.
?Ability to presentation clearly and effectively to audience (internal and external customers)
?Ability to plan and create training materials and provide effectively training to audience (internal and external customers)
?Possesses detailed Analytical skills; ability to understand new materials both deductively and inductively
?Ability to work independently and be resourceful in searching for answers
?Possesses excellent conflict resolution and emergency handling skills
?System/Technical Skills (EDI language): Understand basic “technical” speak and comfortable to self-learn technical matters
?Possesses positive interpersonal skills; comfortable and ability to be involved in negotiations with another party or parties (both internal and external customers)
?Comfortable to learn to use new systems e.g GT Nexus, Schenker Internal applications
5. Experience and Qualifications
?4/6 years of total work experience in an international freight forwarding company with escalating responsibilities
?Experience working in operations.
?Previous reporting and data quality experience is a plus.
?At least 2 year of experience working with International virtual teams
?College degree or above with major in Logistics, International Trade or relevant
