Day to Day Responsibilities:
Provide higher level troubleshooting to ensure timely solutions of system or equipment issues.
Provide analytical and problem solving support and guidance to manufacturing when needed to ensure timeline and deliverables stay on track.
Provide professional engineering and manufacturing skills and knowledge (understands theories and fundamentals), and capable of root cause analysis, and put permanent solutions in place.
To report out the issues with professional data analysis and clear logical process.
To establish and update system SOS/Basecase/PM/SOP as needed and ensure all SOP were performed well by technician.
Equipment downtime analysis and improvement to maximize equipment efficiency.
To develop training materials and provide training to others.
Identifies, justifies and implements cost reduction and capacity enhancement improvement projects.
Design, install, debug and or specifies new equipment or modifies existing equipment to continuously improve system reliability and decreased maintenance cost.
To ensure Mechanical/electrical drawings, operation manuals and software packages are archived properly within the plant.
Meet all SHE requirements.
Weekend and shift coverage is requirement as needed
Education & Experience
Bachelor Degree above, major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and other engineering related.
3~5 + years hands on equipment Design/installation or maintenance in manufacturing environment.
Required Skills
Pro/E, AutoCad or Solid work is a must. Understanding of equipment mechanical and control.
Fix problem with timing, cost saving, data-driven, and detail oriented.
Familiar with BOM (basic of manufacturing), problem solving, and statistic data analysis methodology.
Use rigorous processes and data to solve problems. Uses a systematic approach to drive to root cause understanding of problems to assure validity of corrective actions.
Can work independently by him/herself and also work well within team group.
Quality concept and tool.
Skill in electrical control component application: such as Inverter, Servo motor, Sensor, etc.
Skill in pneumatics controls applications: such as vacuum generator, cylinder, solenoid valve, regulator, filters, etc.
Skill in LM guide, conveyor system.
Skill in software of Windows Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Report and presentation skill.
English communication skill.
Safety awareness.
Desired Skills
Project management skill.
Experience in implementing DMAIC methodology and leading 6-sigma project.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese.
Knowledge of Mitsubishi PLC, PC controls is plus.
FANUC Robot Operate skill is plus.
Skill in Excel VBA, VB, C++ is plus.
Experience in people management is plus, 1+ year Experience of supervising at least 2-3 engineers.
