BU Description:
- China Rapid Solutions Center (RSC) is under GCG Software Lab Services and Solutions Group, directing by Michael Hu, in CDL.
- As a cost center, China RSC would provide Industry Solution delivery skills, for IBM global clients on affordable and effective cost, to deliver high-quality projects, with adoption of solution assets.
- As a competency center, China RSC would support China and Asia client projects more effectively, so to help Industry Solution Software business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Co-work with Solution Architect in project engagement phase, to design solution, clarify project scope, compose services proposal and SOW.
- Work as technical lead in project delivery phase, to design solution architecture, supervise detail design, help PM to control the project delivery quality from technical perspective.
- Up to 30% travel, major in GCG, a few in North America.
- Work on Software Services project, regarding Smarter Cities Solutions, or Financial Operation Solutions.
- Make Architectural design.
- Lead a sub-team taking the responsibility of developing of a sub-system.
- Supervise on the development and test job done by consultant.
- 50% to 60% travel, either in GCG, or in North America and Europe
Job Requirements:
Mandatory:
- Above 8 years experiences in IT industry.
- Above 3 years experience as IT Architect role.
- Strong leadership skills proved in end-end project from solution/technical standpoint.
- Fluent in English communication both orally and in writing.
- Passion of working with clients, good customer facing skills.
- Familiar with at least one of following methodology, Team Solution Design/ SOMA/ GSMethod.
Desirable:
- Experience on Smarter Cities or Banking solutions.
- Experience on IOC, BTT product.
Qualifications:
- Degree: Master or Bachelor degree, major in CS or equivalent.
- IBM IT Architect Accreditation/Certification are desirable.
- Java/J2EE certificates are desirable.
- IBM product skills certificates are desirable.
