Job Summary (Brief overview on scope of job responsibility)
·Responsible for driving the implementation, maintenance and internal audit functions of the CPS-IAA QA system covering operational, quality management systems compliance for the CPS-IAA Asia Operations.
Interrelationships (Other key functional or communication lines)
·Functional communication and systems reporting to Divisional QA Manager
·Work with Sub-Regional Managers, Asia Ops Director
·Work with Operation Office Manager
·Supervise a team of employees split between China and India
Job Responsibility & Accountability (Key roles, functions & accountabilities)
·Act as the Management Representative for CPS-IAA Group QA management system in compliance with the requirements of ISO17020.
·Implement plans and policy for QA & associated training
·Supervise the implementation and maintenance of QA systems (Operational, QMS, Integrity) and associated accreditations inline with ISO17020 and BVCPS Group policy & procedures.
·Internal Audit- Ensure internal audit process is effective in providing a mechanism for continuous improvements, compliance monitoring and implementation of worlds best practice. (Quality & Integrity)
·Develop QA documentation and work processes to ensure effective regional execution of SOP’s, Protocols and customer specific operating procedures.
·Prepare monthly KPI’s summary for management review and monthly reporting.
·Manage and follow-up on non-conformity reporting, customer complaints and preventative and corrective actions.
·Ensure Global Customer Complaints database is updated and maintained.
·Development and implementation of QA and related training programs.
·Recruit, train, manage, set objectives and assess internal QA support staff.
Create an environment, which encourages open & transparent communication through monthly reporting and group meetings with key management staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications (What skills are required for this position)
·University qualification with over 10+ years work experience.
·Work experience must include 5 + years experience in inspections or auditing business at a technical and operational level.
·Experience in Internal auditing of systems and processes.
·Good interpersonal and communication skills.
·A team player able to work effectively across different cultures, departments, functions and environments.
·Experience with QA systems implementation & maintenance relating to ISO9000 or 17020.
·Experience in the development of training material and programs.
·Able to conduct in-house training on quality, operational and technical issues and able to sell ideas and convince.
·Methodical and logical thought process.
