Job Title: Procuemen Analyst (China)
Job Responsibilities:
Data Analysis, Modelling and Reporting
? Support Procurement leadership and co-workers in all data requests. Use analytic techniques to support sourcing and procurement projects. Establish and maintain communication channels with leadership, key team members, and internal business units for data gathering/analysis and to support their business requirements
? Assist Category Management team in the execution of recurrent opportunity/benefit assessment e.g. spend, cost/benefit analysis and reporting, etc.
? Extract data from ERP systems, analysis, modelling tool input and output analysis/ reporting. Understand the nature of businesses and make the business case using data analyses. Support review and assessment of efficiencies within businesses, identifying opportunities and providing improvement recommendations
? Create, validate and promote mathematical models to report performance, model suppliers and industry to assist in the decision making processes. Develop reports on all risks and financial indicators including for example overpayment/over expenditure etc. according to required standard performance metrics set
? Support market analysis by generating Supplier Lists, participating in the creation of RFx (concept design), and identifying key evaluation data elements. Participate in the evaluation plan to understand the feasibility of RFx evaluation using qualitative techniques. Analyse and report RFx information in suitable format using excel and/or Access and/or VBA
? Monitor internal operations and vendor’s performance metrics set. Support design of RFx bid sheet, creating pricing table and an evaluation plan. Code the pricing sheet whenever appropriate/applicable, and perform appropriate data checks. Review/analyse feedback received from suppliers via pricing sheets
? Provide negotiation support. Support analysis of complex bid award scenario’s analysis. Perform scenarios to obtain input or buy-in from internal stakeholders and leadership
? Assist in the development of Procure Plus education materials and enablers
? Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
Major challenges & complexities
? Working simultaneously on multiple, complex projects
? Effectively liaising with different departments and external providers
Qualifications/Requirements Knowledge and Experience
? Experience in quantitative applications such as Microsoft Excel, Access and/or SQL Server
? Experience in Microsoft Word, Visio and PowerPoint will be an advantage
Education and Certifications
? Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
