SUMMARY
Responsible for reviewing the accuracy of the Cost Breakdown Sheet of the factory and look for cost savings, without compromising the integrity of the design, in order to hit the target price.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Start teardown at pullover review with factory, do initial costing, and recommend any cost savings in order to hit the target cost.
- Review pattern layouts of the factory and discuss the most economical pattern shape with PD and factory in order to minimize material waste.
- Reveiw factory’s initial CBS and negotiate special process cost, bottom cost with suppliers and factories. Review LOP of the factory. Generate Deckers CBS and Pricer in PLM and submit CBS and Pricer to US.
- Provide the explanation and analysis for any cost difference.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree or above
- More than 3 years of experience in footwear product costing
- Computer literate.
- Ability to write and communicate in English.
- With very strong personality; Active, Honest, Sharing, Team Work.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Skills in material exploitation and very familiar with the characteristics of shoe materials.
- Familiar with shoes parts and constructions
- Familiar with all shoe materials and component cost
- Ability to negotiate with factory and supplier.
