Summary Description:
This position plays a key role in creating a successful sourcing strategy (electrical connectors, wire, & all components for wire harness) to support Global Sourcing Team in Poland, Mexico and China.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
1.Develop effective commodity sourcing plans in support of Global Commodity Sourcing Strategy.
2.Select, audit and approve/develop local suppliers, supporting supplier management planning, to achieve global cost reduction commodity opportunities.
3.Work with HQ to accomplish cost reduction and cost control.
4.Ensure smooth supplier rationalization; working with ECI Global purchasing team.
5.Provide Technical assistance to Manufacturing/Engineering/QA on procured materials.

Job Requirements:
Must be able to working in a multi-functional Team environment and deal directly with suppliers.
The Commodity Specialist should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good planning capability and be able to operate on own initiative. University graduate required, commercial & logistics experience is a plus.
1.At least 8 years of related wire harness commodity sourcing experience from low cost countries for wire harness materials, and purchasing & budget controlling concept is required.
2.Rich experience in suppliers for harness industry must, engineer background is better
3.Understand wire, connector and component well, good silk in new sources finding
4.Be able to take and accomplish aim-driven project, $400k/6months cost saving or new supplier development
5.Stronger supplier auditing experience specifically, and related localisation experience is preferred.
6.Good negotiation & communication skill are essential.
7.Stronger project management skills required.
8.Fluent in English (verbal & written).
9.Strong Team spirit... must be honest & reliable associate & work at various levels.
10.Be able to travel domestically or internationally
