Summary of Responsibility
Responsible for coordinating the order fulfillment process for all sales orders supplied from the Suzhou plant to local (China) and export (China export, ASPAC) customers. This includes optimizing supply chain processes to improve customer satisfaction and logistics costs. This position will need to interface with manufacturing, scheduling, customer service, quality, and other order fulfillment positions such as logistics specialist and 3PLs to resolve delivery issues and improve processes.
Key Accountabilities
1. Fulfill Customer Order. This includes but not limited to the followings:
a. Ensure Customer Request Date (CRD) delivery are observed
b. Ensure First Promise Date (FPD) are observed
c. Container Bookings
d. Generate Pick Lists
e. Ensure good containerization of deliveries
f. Ensure Pick list are completed accurately
g. Generate Pack List and Invoice including VAT invoice
h. Process Letter of Credit (L/C) if needed
i. Ensure that special quality or shipping instructions are oberved
j. Perform Goods Issue of orders
2. Maintain a systematic records and communication of necessary shipping/transportation related documentation (import, local and export)
3. Responsible to maintain and report KPI for On Time delivery (OTD) versus CRD, FPD and LPD. Responsible to perform root cause investigations on OTD misses, and propose corrective actions
4. Responsible to maintain and report KPI on containerization. Propose plan to improve containerization if applicable.
5. Support sales of miscellaneous items, and invoicing of such sales.
6. Coordinate customs clearance of inbound and outbound goods when needed
7. Back up for Import & Export Specialist when needed
8. Handle projects as and when necessary
Qualifications and Requirements
· Candidate should have CPIM certificate or equivalent experience in logistics, transportation, mathematic, statistics and distribution or related field.
· Candidate must have strong understanding of process flows and be able to clearly communicate process issues and opportunities with colleagues and 3PLP.
· Candidate should be familiar with customer order processes which use Available to Promise strategy to make commitments to customers.
· Candidate should be able to multitask and demonstrate good time and priority management.
· Candidate should be knowledgeable in China customs process and requirements, VAT invoicing and familiar with export shipping documents including Letter of Credit.
· Candidate should have systems knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP and be able to apply these to analyze and solve problems.
· Previous experience in an MRPII environment a plus.
· Good communication skills in English & Mandarin
