Automation Engineer
We are seeking experienced QA automation engineers to join our innovation team to work with colleagues across an international network of State Street research and development centers.
What You'll Do
? Use cutting edge technology to create test frameworks and automate key business workflows;
? Analyze quality assurance processes to identify optimizations
? Identify use cases and create test cases to validate software design via manual and automated tests;
? Create defect reports and feature enhancement requests, and track issues to resolution;
? Support efficient prototype development on innovation projects and Fintech products with the ideal befitting technologies;
? Develop software best practices like test-driven development (TDD), behavioral-driven development (BDD), and continuous integration / deployment

Qualifications
? B.S. degree in General Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering
? Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
? Professional and/or academic background in SQL/NoSQL and relational database concepts
? Experience with at least on object-oriented programming language or one of the leading testing automation tools and frameworks
? An interest in business domain and key business drivers influencing the quality of software applications
? Work effectively with cross-functional, distributed teams
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, prioritize work, establish deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor progress of team members.
? Strong problem-solving skills and trouble-shooting skills. Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the project team.
? Must be very detail-oriented with regards to testing
? Able to think creatively about global solutions to testing challenges
? Entrepreneurial interest and business sense.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
