Position Objective

? Ensure finished products are in compliance with all design specification and meet all
required quality standard.
? Manage the team to achieve the optimum efficiency in the performance of quality assurance responsibilities.


Job Responsibilities

? Manage the operation and administration of QA function for all Field QA’s.
? Responsible for the performance of Field QA’s.
? Responsible raw material inspection, in-line inspection and final audit.
? Work with Field QA on resource allocation, Quality improvement and follow up on Quality issues.
? Communicate quality requirements, inspection policies and procedures to new factories to ensure that production will meet company's requirement.
? Implement quality control policies and procedures as directed by senior management to ensure conformity with legal and corporate specifications and standard.
? Conduct evaluation on potential vendors in the areas of production capacity and performance.
? Support VCP/VCA training and certification process, provide feedback and Data on VCA performance.
? Ensure data collection and entry is up to date.
? Work with Commercialization Team and Product Development Team to receive key elements for in line and final inspection.
? Participate in all relevant hand-offs to learn required product execution, die cut trial, production fitting and PPT (pre-production trial).
? Create and distribute on KPI relevant to vendors performance.
? Participating in factory evaluation and audit document findings, support vendor correction action plan progress.
? Support and maintain creation of product guideline and manuals.
? Develop, lead and motivate staff.
? Work on special projects as and when assigned such as Japan Inspection.
? Set up procedure and system to gather market intelligence on industry practices.










Qualification & Working Experience

? Diploma or equivalent.
? 10 to 15 years relevant experience in footwear and accessories manufacturing.
? Has good knowledge and conversant in footwear and accessories machinery, sewing, cutting and packing operation.
? Able to work with all levels of people.
? Good communication and leadership
