Role Summary:
? To effectively explore, secure and develop new business and distribution opportunities throughout the territory.
? Pro-actively seek out new business opportunities in China and work towards achieving agreed new business target.
? Able to sell all of the international insurance products for those coming to Australia, through the various distribution channels that are to be developed.
? Create and foster strong working relationships with distributors and to develop long-term relationships at the highest levels with accounts of strategic importance to the Australian company.
? Build effective working relationships with key contacts at the Chinese insurance company to continually improve the partnership
? Educate sales agents and distribution channel partners in the products
Experience Required
? Experience equivalent to 5 -10 years experience in B2B and/or B2C sales with a demonstrated knowledge of market triggers affecting the business.
? Demonstrated success in pipeline creation, development and ongoing management as well as relationship management.
? Ability to make highly successful presentations to audiences of various sizes and to various customer segments
? Demonstrated record of successfully driving sales through third parties.
? Understands the Chinese culture
? Preferably understands the Australian health system and health insurance framework, ideally within the international customer segments.
? Preferably has a strong network of contacts within the migration and international education sector in China for those coming to Australia
