Job Responsibilities
? Channel capacity planning to ensure right partner selection and recruitment for effective market coverage (enough feet-on-street). Portfolio management
? Channel capability building and development to have right type of partners for HPE Software. Build partner capability and skills matrix. Identify skills gap and enablement plans and requirements
? Be a trusted advisor to country manager on indirect strategy and to Partners’ C-level on business and growth strategy
? Leverage and work closely with cross-functional group (e.g Enablement, product BU, marketing, sales, presales, digital sales) for Go-To-Market execution
? Leverage, select and align key BU initiatives/sales plays to drive Commercial or Partner Sourced Business
? Execute and follow-through APJ led key channel development program eg. MSP, OEM
? Partner account management that includes
- Relationship/ trust building
- Business planning (yearly) : identify and execute growth programs
- Business planning review (quarterly) : ensure plan are executed
- Day-to-day, hygiene factors, conflict management
- Bi-Weekly cadence with each key partners on opportunities building/progress
Preferred Qualifications/Pre-Requisites
? Self starter with strong organizational skills
? Ability to develop relationships (internal & external esp with C level)
? Meticulous attention to detail and follow-up
? Strong collaboration, teaming and networking skills
? Strong interpersonal relationship
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Projects a positive and professional image
? Strong business acumen
? Understand overall market dynamics, competitors’ dynamics.
? Must have at least 5 years indirect/channel sales experience in hardware, software or services portfolio
