Overall Description:

The manager for Materials Management is responsible for all personnel, systems, processes, and daily operations of Materials
Management functions for the plant which would include Plant Capacity Planning, Production Planning & Scheduling, Materials Planning, Materials Movements, Purchasing, Raw Materials, Finished Goods & MRO (maintenance, repair, and operating supplies) warehouses, and Shipping.

Roles & Responsibilities:

? Ensure that Materials & Parts are available as scheduled and Inventory is managed at the appropriate levels to support operations activity.
? Manage the integration of systems and tools with Lean Methodologies to leverage positive business results.
? Manages the Materials & Parts Delivery process including working with Operations to set-up/design the Replenishment Supermarkets, Kanban and Pull systems.
? Manages the Production Planning & Control activity to ensure that customer orders are built and delivered timely.
? Responsible of Inventory levels and Inventory Accuracy across the plant.
? Manages the Warehouses for all category of parts.
? Manages the Purchasing function to ensure that all Purchase Orders are released and goods received on a timely manner.
? Work with organizational leaders to establish and document mutually agreeable Goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that align with the Corporate Mission/Vision/Values and Strategic Priorities.
? Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities/Education/Experience
? Knowledge in Materials Management Practices and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at all levels of employees.
? Knowledge of ISO & Lean Management systems.
? Proven Managerial skills with ability to Think/Manage Strategically, Develop Talent and Maximize Performance.
? Ability to financially manage the department by understanding budgeting and compensation.
? Must be market focused to enhance customer satisfaction.
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
? APICS CPIM qualification would be an advantage.
? 8 years’ supervisory experience in Materials Management or related Operations/Manufacturing functions. 举报 分享
