Our client a European based product development company specialized in engineered soft good, mobile device storage and accessories. Our client excels consolidated efforts on product design & development, procurement, quality control, production and logistics in delivery high quality goods for global distribution.

To cope with the business growth, they are seeking for an experienced Plant Manager to handle the overall management of the factory in Dongguan.

The Plant Manager is a key role responsible for planning, organizing, addressing and managing all the activities of the factory. If you are have at least 5 years solid experience in factory management; with excellent communications, leadership and problem solving skills and wish to be part of a rapid growing company, this is a good opportunity for you.

Major Responsibilities

• Oversee factory daily operations to ensure it is run in highly efficient & professional way
• Lead and manage the areas on HR; Administration; Accounting & Regulatory and work in close collaboration with the other function heads on production, product development, quality, PMC and project management
• Ensure the operations procedures and control guidelines are complied with and keep these updated as per market and business requirements
• Manage the factory manpower planning and resources allocation to cope with the business needs and ad hoc projects
• Handle the PRC regulatory employment requirements and ensure its compliance at all time by establishing appropriate policies and guidelines
• Assist in representing the company to develop relationships with government bodies, local authorities and the local counterparties
• Anticipate and tackle any labor or resources issues proactively
• Keep abreast of the market practice and regulatory changes and make corresponding updates to internal policies and procedures
• Participate in preparing factory budgeting and monitor the factory cost within budget
• Establish the KPI for evaluating the effectiveness of all operations
• Lead the factory staff to work for continuous improvement on performance and efficiency
• Manage and maintain a balanced and team work organization with excel in flexibility, skills, and structures to support short and long-term requirements
• Together with all relevant teams and management to achieve the sales turnover and commercial margin target

Job Requirements

• Degree in engineering disciplines with good knowledge of injection molding, tooling
• 10 years of progressive relevant factory experience at MNC
• Have a thorough understanding of PRC employment laws and practices
• Good understanding of high volume consumer goods manufacturing
• Good understanding and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
• Strong command of Mandarin and English
• Highly motivated, embraced to challenge, strong negotiation and leading skills and the ability to participate in the closure of complex manufacturing problems
