DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description

Responsible for supplier development in a manufacturing or service
process; works with suppliers to continuously improve performance,
implement process controls and develop quality assurance plans.



Flex has entered into a joint venture with RIB Software, the leading 5D
Building Information Modeling (BIM) enterprise software company. This
new joint venture, YTWO Formative, is Flex’s entry into the building
and housing industry. In support of YTWO Formative, Flex has created a
new business, Flex Building Group (FBG), which is a 100% owned Flex
entity that will be the execution arm for YTWO Formative.



FBG is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer that will be responsible for
supplier development in the manufacturing and service process. The
chosen individual will work with suppliers to continuously improve
performance, implement process controls and develop quality assurance
plans.



Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in engineering from
a recognized institution (or equivalent) with at least 4 years of
engineering experience. Prior building materials, construction or
related experience is ideal but not required.



Principle Accountabilities include
(but are not limited to):

1. Supplier qualification and selection

2. Value-Added Engineering Activity (VEA) to optimize supplier
manufacturing process or products

3. Material qualification through implementation of PPAP (FAI, Material
Certificates, Quality/Process Control Plan, FMEA, MSA, Reliability
Test, etc.)

4. Hot issue troubleshooting and resolution 5. Support of regular
supplier audits
