Position Title
Accounting Associate

Responsibility Overview
China and HK accounting management

Reporting to
Finance Associate, who reports to Doppler Labs Controller

Location of Employment
Doppler Labs Shanghai office with potential travel to vendor locations around China.

Employment Start Date
Employment will be for a non-fixed period commencing on 20th March 2017

Main Roles
? Take the lead in management of Doppler Labs China and HK accounting and provide ongoing support.
o Collaborate with Doppler Labs service providers
o Manage AP, AR, payroll, depreciation schedule and other bookkeeping entries in NetSuite for Doppler Labs China and Doppler Labs HK entities
o Manage and support making of payments to vendors and settling international transfers to ensure smooth business operations
o Manage and coordinate with banks, including annual account inspection, foreign exchange settlement etc.
o Monitor cash movements and make sure adequate balance for payments due
o Manage inventory reconciliation together with Doppler Labs supply chain team
o Support month end closing, including bank reconciliation, GL review, open PO review, open bill review etc.
o Support tax returns, annual tax clearance and inspection with accounting and finance service providers for Doppler Labs China and HK
o Support statutory audit, annual profit tax, employer and employee return filing for Doppler Labs China and HK
o Support employee expense submissions and records
o Work with line managers to set goals and implement action and improvement plans following internal control policies

Preferred Candidate Profile
? Finance/Accounting related degree or above
? 3+ years work experience within international organisations
? Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
? Candidate must possess advanced accounting knowledge
? NetSuite accounting software knowledge highly desirable
? Manufacturing and international trade experience desirable
? Ability to work in a small international team with energy and self-confidence
? Strong interpersonal, communication and cross-cultural skills
? Organized, detail oriented and efficient at identifying and analysing problems, with ability to create and drive solutions.
? Honest, hard-working with demonstrated career development
? Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a small team under pressure
? Able to maintain standards whilst being flexible and open-minded
