Responsibilities:
?Develop full CAD / STL or similar format drawings for all sliders and components.
?Support the TSPD-GZ in trouble shooting & advising on slider and component design.
?Support the Engineering Development Manager – Global Zips in any drawings needed for machine replacement parts.
?Support the Engineering department with drawings for parts if time permits.
?Check new moulds / tools developed by suppliers to see that they are correctly made according to drawing.
?Maintain a database of all drawings for sliders , components and parts drawings.
Qualifications:
?Degree or above in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
?Strong understanding and 5 years experience of CAD Software such as Solid Works, Pro Engineer / Auto CAD.
?3 years of zip / buttons or snaps or small component engineering drawings experience required. Preferably zip slider or associated components.
?Experience in small metal diecast or stamped component industry is needed. Knowledge and experience of Zipper Finishing equipment suppliers is preferred.
?Good command of English is preferred.
