Responsibilities

• Perform physical and mechanical testing of apparel and textiles using the testing equipment in an apparel and textile laboratory.
• Provide written test results in English for the preparation of testing reports.
• Maintain accurate testing records of all tests performed.
• Follow established operating procedures for the physical and mechanical testing of apparel and textiles.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Textiles, Garments or related discipline.
• MUST have a minimum of 3 years experience in the following: identification of yarn type, mesh per unit length, fabric finishing, and down classification. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while performing physical mechanical tests of apparel and textiles.
• Familiar with the operational procedures and equipment used for the physical and mechanical testing of apparel and textiles.
• Familiar with the European Standards (EN, ISO, DIN, BS) for the physical and mechanical testing of apparel and textiles.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese ( Putonghua)
• Working Location: Liaobu Town, Dongguan City (Hansecontrol Dongguan)
