职位描述：
Manages the technical aspects of raw materials/finished goods for the respective Brand(s). Drives to meet on time delivery and first quality goods by working with and advising Mills, Trim Suppliers, Vendors. Maintains and monitors vendor and/or material supplier adherence to Company’s FAS standards, processes and procedures (Fabric R&D, Color, and Technical compliance/testing). Elevates the Brand by driving improvement in quality and consistency of the merchandise for all classifications.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Act as the main point of contact to our vendor/factories/material suppliers for technical support; Provide technical guidance and maintain communications with vendor/factories/material suppliers ; Ensure complete understanding of brand expectations
? Manages the assessment of suppliers capabilities and capacities as new resources are considered to support the Sourcing Strategy. Manages, directs and conducts raw material supplier audits and evaluations as needed.
? Ensures supply chains partners understand Company’s FAS standards, processes and procedures. Requests and evaluates corrective action plans where deficiencies are found. Promote thorough pre-production activities and Right First Time submission best practices.
? Reviews lab tests. Assesses risk level associated with non-conforming product (raw materials and finished products). Recommends course of action.
? Supports various aspects of company’s FAS Lab Certification program including supplier training and evaluation.
? Establishes and develops relationships with vendors and material suppliers as well as cross-functional teams in relationship to testing and execution.
? Travel required; frequent, often on short notice.
? Supports color management in the field by on-site assessment and driving adherence to processes and policies.
? Assist vendor/factories/material suppliers to provide more approvable submissions and assist in cost engineering
? Apply and mentor Dyer and Printer in methods analysis and Lab-dipping / Strike-off engineering ; Recommend the use of 3rd party resources when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:
? 6+ years experience in textiles technical management or a related field
? 5+ years experience in international apparel manufacturing
? Proven experience in interacting effectively with all internal and external partners
? Ability to analyze and evaluate mill environments and manage corrective action plans.
? Extensive knowledge of best practices and methods for supplier qualification and selection
? Working knowledge of “lean manufacturing” and Right First Time practices.
? Working knowledge of textile fabrication and construction
? Working knowledge of textile testing and lab procedures
? Ability to work with minimal supervision
? Good time management skills
? Good written and verbal communications skills
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
? Available for extensive domestic travel and international travel
