Title: JR0008175 NFV Software Intern
Location: Shanghai
Description:
In this position, you will join a talented software development team at Network Platform Group under Data Center Business Group. Currently the Telco and Cloud networking are transforming towards data center server/rack based system infrastructure, open source play a significant role by providing the software reference and key software optimization technologies . Joining the data plane software team, you will get opportunity to access the industry cutting-edge system technologies such as Intel server processor, Ethernet and Chipset, Linux system profiling, Virtualization, NFV, Container. You will also learn how to work/contribute with the open source projects such as DPDK, FD.io, Hyperscan, OPNFV, OVS etc. Depend on the individual strength and passions, you may work on the DPDK virtualization, Contrail virtualization enhancement, NFV Container pathfinding, Programmable data plane with HW acceleration, Or even RegEx algorithm intensive study, Create demo and do a deep performance analysis & define the optimization plan, implement. Due to the overall project complexity, we are looking for students who are willing to spend 4 months+ with us.
Qualifications
1.Strong passionate about of learning the system internals such as processor or operating system
2.Familiar with Linux system installation, software development environment and toolchain such as GIT, GCC, GDB, Make/Config utilities.
3.Good understanding of Linux networking and Ethernet driver techniques. Familiar with TCP/IP, Ethernet, Switch, Router basics.
4.Good understanding of open source community/tools.
5.Major in Computer science or equivalent.
6.3 Days+ per week

1.Good knowledge of Virtualization and Container technology.
1.Demonstrate the technology curiosity and problem solving skills.
