Job Title: Plant Manager
Industry: Automotive
Job Summary:
1. Fully responsible for new plant building and operation, supported by HQ
2. Develop overall business strategy for the operation.
3. Produce annual Profit Plan and Strategic Plan, responsible for overall profitability of operation.
4. Oversee all manufacturing operations with excellent and supportive services at Beijing site focusing on safety, cost, quality, and delivery.
5. Responsible for operational budgets for approval and keep on adherence to approved budgets.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and control operational processes through a full function, including: manufacturing, logistics, engineering, quality, maintenance, purchasing, tooling and human resources.
2. Direct company's vision and mission to guide and coach subordinate staff
3. Set up Beijing plant policies and procedures to ensure effective manufacturing operations
4. Co-ordinates the execution of manufacturing schedules to optimize plant effectiveness
5. Manage and motivate employees through performance system
6. Responsible for lean manufacturing at Beijing site for cost down and efficiency improvement
7. Develop annual operating targets, development plans, promote and implement the achievement of operational performance indicators;
8. Implement and monitor production management to ensure on-time delivery of products;
9. Responsible for the operation of the production process in compliance with quality requirement
10. In charge of EHS management in compliance with state and local laws and regulations
11. Drive plant culture, in the organization to align with IAC culture requirement
12. Develop good working relation with local government and lawful institute
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor or above, major in engineering or related
2. 8+ years of working experience in multi-national company, 3-5 years of managerial level experience
3. Quite familiar with all operational functions: mfg, quality, purchasing, SCM, engineering, etc
4. Strong data analysis capability, and cost consciousness
5. Familiar with lean manufacturing, six sigma
6. Understanding of TS16949 and ISO14000
7. Good command of oral and writing English and mandarin
