POSITION SUMMARY
.Responsible for the deliverables, schedule, cost, quality and profitability of one full phase of a project whose duration is between 1-3 months, or a packaged solution.
.Builds and/or maintains the project plan for one complete track. Leads the project implementation team towards the project objectives.
.Ensures quality project execution that is in accordance with services agreements, statements of work and implementation guidelines.
.Plans and manages the project within pre-defined budget and ensures success by delivering a solution that meets the client's requirements of functionality, cost, and schedule.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Manages a project through one full phase or a packaged solution of 1-3 month duration to completion.
2.Within the program framework, and consistent with the value proposition, plans, allocates and supervises direction, scope, tasks, resources and activities for the project phase. This includes but is not limited to developing and maintaining the WBS and plan to ensure adherence to overall project plan.
3.Communicates with company management, Client and project team regarding status and progress of project.
4.Collaborates with Sales, Client Managers, Program Managers, and Solution Architects in delivery of services by determining approach, scope, deliverables, schedule, risk mitigation and cost of solution(s).
5.Ensures project activity is in accordance with project plan and standards as outlined by the Program Management Office (PMO).
6.Adheres to Quality Management, Risk Management, Change Management and Configuration Management practices.
7.Provides guidance on process, methodology and direct content review that will support the project team.
8.May coordinate, participate in, and manage the delivery of written specifications Participates in the development of and is prepared to implement the risk mitigation plan due to situations like loss of critical resources, loss of funding, etc.
9.Ensures a transition to post implementation activities that are supported and maintained properly.
10.Drives/Supports the GoLive Process and Customer Reference Program
11.Reports any prospects for future or follow-on work to the Program or Client Manager.
12.Manages a team of 2-5 people and works to resolve staff and team issues. And any other duties as assigned.
13.Facilitates the employee's performance planning, goal setting and development, and reviews.
14.Evaluates behavioral feedback collected by the employee throughout the year to identify proficiency, strengths and weaknesses.
15.Provides information, advice, guidance, and suggestions to the employee to enable them to be more successful.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

.Masters or Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar with Technical Background.
.5+ years consulting, 3+ years Team Leader experience.
.Familiar with ERP, PLM/PDM preferred.
.Course work in fundamental aspect(s) of Project Management (e.g. planning, schedule and cost control, risk management) Up to 100% overnight stay may be required for long periods of time
